DR.CATRIONA MCARCA (SCT)

Dr Catriona McAra writes on the marvellous in contemporary art. She lectures in art history at the University of Aberdeen and has published widely on feminist-surrealism and Scottish art. She is the author of The Medium of Leonora Carrington (2022), and her most recent catalogue essay, with Claire Cousins, is ‘An Art History of Mars’ (The Fruitmarket Gallery, 2026). Catriona also co-curated Aberdeen Artworlds: The Linklater Collection currently on display in the Sir Duncan Rice Library Gallery.
